Now offering in-person psychotherapy in Kingston, Ontario.
Hello, my name is Victoria. I am a queer Therapist and Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. In 2015, I completed my Master’s of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Toronto with a focus on Social Justice and Diversity.
Originally from Toronto, I have lived throughout South Eastern Ontario and am excited to now call Kingston, Ontario home. I have provided therapy to children, adolescents, adults and families for the past ten years throughout Ontario and have worked in various capacities with LGBTQ communities since 2010.
My practice focuses on supporting queer and trans folks across the lifespan in order to build resilience and develop strong communities. Areas of expertise include affirmative psychotherapy and skill building with queer and trans youth, supporting parents and caregivers of children and teens who are exploring their gender, and supporting the mental health of queer and trans young adults. In addition, I am particularly interested in providing therapy virtually to queer and trans individuals living in rural communities who do not have the same access to culturally sensitive care as those members of our communities living in larger, urban settings.
I approach my work with clients with compassion and curiosity and I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy. The relationship between client and therapist is a powerful tool for healing and I hope to provide a safe space for you to explore your lived experiences and current challenges. You are welcome to reach out to schedule a complimentary consultation to determine if we would be a good fit and to learn more about my practice.
