Hello, my name is Victoria. I am a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. In 2015, I completed my Master’s of Social Work at the University of Toronto with a focus on Social Justice and Diversity.
Originally from Toronto, and having lived in Ottawa, I have called the Bay of Quinte home for the past five years. I have provided therapy to children, adolescents, adults and families for the past eight years throughout the Greater Toronto Area and southeastern Ontario and have worked in various capacities with LGBTQ communities over the past twelve years. I am particularly interested in providing therapy virtually to LGBTQ individuals living in rural communities who do not have the same access to culturally sensitive care as those members of our communities living in larger, urban settings.
I approach my work with clients with compassion and curiosity and I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy. The relationship between client and therapist is a powerful tool for healing and I hope to provide a safe space for you to explore your lived experiences and current challenges.
